At the Augusta Sailing Club, we are here to provide our juniors with the support they need in order to shape them into leaders on and off the water. We have a number of educational programs and leadership initiatives that help nurture our youth and help them develop skills they will carry throughout their lives!

Each year in June/July, we offer 5-day long camps from beginner to advanced levels. The full day "Adventure Sailing" camp teaches the basics of water safety, sailing, and paddling while the half-day camps focus on the next level of sailing from Beginner to Intermediate Open Skiff, 420, and race team. Hope to see you this summer!
Our junior race team participates in regattas locally, as well as many in the south east. We focus primarily on regattas that are part of the SAYRA Junior Grand Prix circuit. However, we have several juniors also participating in Laser 12 Districts and US Sailing Junior Olympics.
If interested in forming a High School Team, please contact augustacommunitysailing@gmail.com.
In order to sail Varsity, at least four students are required from each school to participate.
Upcoming SAISA Regattas:
NP #6 James Island Yacht Club- February 22-23
All ASC Juniors that have completed a week of sail camp are encouraged to participate in our Sunday practices in the spring and fall. This is a great opportunity for all levels of interest. Whether your junior just wants to sail around for fun or is ready to learn how to race, our volunteer coaches will be there to help out.
